“Everything You Need” To Know About Lovely World’s New Single

Lovely World is a 4 piece rock band that is based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Members consist of Landon Rojas, Cade Rojas, Michael Gilbert, and Daniel Williams. The two original members ( Landon and Cade) roughly started the band back in 2015/2016 under a different name. However, now in 2023, they are bigger and better than ever! With multiple releases under their belt, opening for Bon Jovi and now performing at the US’s biggest rock festival, Rock Fest, Lovely World cannot wait to show the world who they truly are!

Before their Northern American tour, Lovely World released their newest single, “Everything You Need” on May 18th. In just a few months, this single already has 19k streams on Spotify!

I had a wonderful opportunity to interview Landon Rojas, the lead singer of Lovely World. This way we can dive deeper into what this release is truly about!
‘Everything You Need’ was written by Landon and overlooked by the rest of the band. One of the inspirations that inspired this song was an older man who worked at a warehouse where Landon worked at. He (the man) complained about how badly his back hurt from working all of those hours. Rightfully so.
”Everything You Need” shows the emotions that you feel as you work a dead-end 9-5 job that overworks and tires you out. It gets pretty boring. This man, especially, inspired Landon’s favorite lyric in the song, “ Work until your back gives out.”
I feel like a lot of us can relate to not enjoying our job(s) and hoping for better things. That sometimes what you think is ‘best’ for you or what you think you HAVE to do, isn’t what you NEED. Sometimes (if not most of the time) it’s holding you back and sucking the life out of you.
When asked who writes typically the lyrics, Landon responded, “I write the melody and lyrics. I tend to think of it as a drawing. I sketch it out and the band colors it. I tend to write most everything on an acoustic guitar but sometimes electric and I'm starting to play with keyboards now!”

I adore how he described it as a form of visual art. The way the guys of Lovely World work together is amazing! Lovely World loves to focus on common but important emotions such as loneliness, pain, and love, and this single is a perfect example of that!
Most everyone has some influences when it comes to their art. Lovely World definitely has major musical influences that inspire them day by day. “ Jeff Buckley, The Beatles, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Kings of Leon, Nina Simone, Nirvana, Bob Marley. There's so many!” Landon was proud to mention it.
When I asked Landon if there was any last bit of info he’d like to spill, he told me ‘We have a ton of dates coming and a ton of music coming. I honestly can't wait to get our debut album out."
We're excited to see what comes in the future! Lovely World did mention that there's a chance 'Everything You Need' will appear on their debut album. As for a lot of what they have recorded is up in the air for rearrangements as well. There is a high possibility that their debut album and/ or EP will be released at the end of this year! ( You heard it here first!)
Lovely World is quickly gaining traction and engagement in the music industry! They recently announced that they are now officially a part of a music documentary on paramount plus, called, ‘I wanna Rock: The 80’s Metal Dreams’. This is a huge step for the guys of Lovely World!
