Beach Fossils @ House of Blues - Anaheim, CA

October 23, 2023 — Photos & recap by Victoria Alexis

The Sunday evening I spent in attendance for Beach Fossils at the Anaheim House of Blues was one to remember. Kicking off the night with two stellar opening acts set the crowd down into the heart of a dreamy-indie rabbit hole. The dynamic Bay-Area-based band Provoker opened the night with high energy and excitement. Next to take the stage was Turnover with their iconic blend of dreamy garage rock and emo influences. From the moment Beach Fossils stepped into the spotlight, the venue was bathed in the band's hazy, atmospheric sound. The band's performance showcased their ability to craft an immersive experience through their music. From every hypnotic guitar riff to ethereal vocals, the audience spent the evening entranced. With every distinctive hook, ranging from classics such as "Sleep Apnea" to new hits like "Dare Me", the crowd would erupt into applause and a frenzy of energy. Don't miss any chance you can to catch them live.
