September 17, 2022 — Fresh from the Canadian leg of his Polarity tour, German-Iraqi electronic music record producer Alexander Ridha, stage name Boys Noize, was able to shake the Lone Star State in Houston at the tropical and laser filled Bauhaus in Houston. Ridha’s set (which saw the likes of Beyonce’s “America has a Problem,” fan favorite “One More Time,” and punctuated with Ridha’s own “MVNLINE” and the ominous “HardzKotzen” remixed by Jensen Interceptor) was a playful, cheeky time that didn’t shy away from hopping between raunchy, intense techno to bright, grooving house and pop-house tracks. Met with the right crowd, people weren’t afraid to let loose to the tracks that have the driving and intense bass encourage that behavior after being hyped by the tracks they knew, recognized, and loved.
