Junior H Takes Over Houston

January 27, 2023 — I knew a few things about Junior H prior to the show as I had a lot of friends and family that listened to his music. However, pulling up to the concert showed that he was far more than I had imagined. Immediately, I noticed the line that wrapped around the venue multiple times as the show was sold out. Seeing an explosion of different Latino cultures brought a smile to my face, everyone was showing out in their best attire for tonight. As I moved through the crowd of people to get inside the venue and receive my press pass, I could hear the loud Spanish music booming from the venue. Inside, I was met with a DJ in the lobby, putting on songs that were certified to get people amped up. I received my pass and made my way towards the stage, which was already getting packed like sardines and the doors had just opened!

At the stage, there was another DJ, already blasting his mixes and getting the crowd even more riled up. It was not long until the band began making their way to the stage, one by one, each time the crowds yelled, the excitement grew larger. Finally, Junior H made his way to the stage, the first song under way. The crowd roared with excitement as the night kicked off.

Junior H has incredible stage presence, constantly interacting with the crowd and truly singing out to them. His music has resonated with everyone in the building and they now have the opportunity to come together and celebrate his work. The entire night, Junior H’s million dollar smile not once faded. Ranging from slower ballads to more ramped up songs, the crowd sang every word, their voices ringing loud in the sold out and packed venue.

The night was surely one to remember for everyone in attendance. I was blown away by how much energy was present in the venue that night. The energy never faded and was still buzzing long after he left the stage. Everyone came to have a good time and they left having a great one.
