September 28, 2022 — I had the opportunity to photograph Movements at Trees in Dallas Texas. We began the night with the first opener that brought a vast amount of energy into their performance. The band's name is currently unknown to me, but I will research until I find their name. They really set the tone for the night ahead.

Angel Dust was next and as the lead singer commented their music was definitely truck music. They started off with a slow song then they stepped it up with fast paced and energetic songs that had the crowd jumping and moshing. The crowd could not be contained as they were infused with the energy from the anticipation of seeing Movements. Justice Tripp the lead singer of the band definitely put a vast amount of emotions into each song they played. Pat McCrory, Brendan Yates, and Daniel Fang are all part of Angel Dust as well.

After Angel Dust was their set One Step Closer came out to burn the house down as they instantly started to interact with the crowd and set it up for Movements to launch the crowd into a frenzy. Ryan Savitski the lead singer of the band was phenomenal as he approached every song with visceral energy and dominance. The other members of the band Tommy Norton, Ross Thompson, and Grady Allen were also bringing their best game. Their final song is what set it all off for the entry into the main event.

Movements was finally on stage ready to give the crowd what they have been looking for all day. Patrick Miranda the lead singer of the band spoke to the band and congratulated everyone that was on tour with then as they were about to split up to end the tour. He mentioned the previous bands to give them a round of applause. They began their set and performed some of their old songs and of course included their latest release. They included songs like "Full Circle", "Tunnel Vision", and "Daylily" on their setlist. I was definitely excited as well as this time I got to be apart of the crowd and feel that energy going around. Movements were amazing live as they played every song with joy and emotion.
