5 Must-See Artists at Illfest 2022

Illfest is an Austin-based electronic music festival that brings in over 50 electronic artists and over 30 muralists across the 4 stages. This September 4th and 5th will be the 5th iteration of the festival. With countdowns for the event getting smaller and smaller, here are some must-see artists if this will be your very first electronic music festival. Have fun!

1. AC Slater

“The King of Heavy Bass House in America" - Los Angeles-based AC Slater’s discography includes a wide range of styles, particularly house, rave, and heavy bass music. He has collaborated with Tchami, Marshmello, and Chris Lorenzo among many others.

2. Madeon

Madeon is a French DJ and producer who has worked with countless artists including Lady Gaga and Coldplay. One of his big hits includes “Shelter” with Porter Robinson. His most recent album blends pop, house, and gospel to bring about feel-good dance music.

3. Jai Wolf

Jai Wolf is another artist that blends genres in a way that culminates in unique music. He blends electronic and indie rock to create nostalgic-sounding dance songs that make you feel like you’re soaring between mountain peaks and clouds.

4. Habstrakt

Habstrakt is a French artist that continues to reel in audiences around the world on stages at EDC Las Vegas, Lollapalooza, and Hard Summer Fest. His house influenced, heavy bass tracks make him a household name in the electronic dance music community. 

5. LSDREAM

LSDREAM creates varied bass music and recently collaborated with Liquid Stranger to become “one of the most lethal, dynamic duos in bass music.”
