June 11, 2023Candlebox, one of the most popular alternative rock bands of the 1990s, brought their “The Long Goodbye” tour to the Manchester Music Hall on Sunday night. The band, which is retiring after one last album, "The Long Goodbye," played a setlist that spanned their entire career.

The show opened with MONA, a new band from Nashville, TN which played a set of catchy, upbeat rock songs that got the crowd moving. In a surprise move, Candlebox frontman Kevin Martin joined MONA on stage for a new song played first on this tour! After MONA's set, Candlebox took the stage to a thunderous applause.

The band opened with their hit song, "ARROW.” It was clear that Candlebox still has a strong following. The band played a mix of old and new songs, including "Cover Me," "Far behind," and "Change."

Candlebox closed the show with a performance of their biggest hit, "You." The band played the song with passion and energy, and the crowd sang along with every word. It was a fitting end to a great show.

Candlebox is a band that has stood the test of time. Their music is still as relevant and powerful today as it was when they first released it. The Long Goodbye tour is a chance for fans to say goodbye to a band that has brought them so much joy.
